Podcasts I listen to

Here is a list of podcasts I listen to (or not, as the case may be).

Mac-related podcasts:

  • MacCast
The MacCast is the best podcast I’ve found up to now to keep abreast of all the Mac news, in combination with his excellent shownotes. If you want to know what is happening in Mac-land, subscribe to this podcast.
  • MacNotables
MacNotables can be interesting, but the problem is that they tend sometimes to banter away, making inside jokes to eachother that are not very interesting for the listener. However, there are very good episodes, especially when there is only one guest telling something about one subject. The shownotes are not always very complete.
  • ScreenCastsOnline
This is a video-podcast, showing tutorials on how to perform specific tasks on Mac OS X. You see a Mac screen, and a voice-over tells you what he is doing and why. These tutorials are sometimes very informative, especially if you are new to the Mac, but also teaching more advanced topics.
  • mactv
On a lighter note, this video-podcast shows short video’s relating to the Mac, like commercials, parts of tv-programs etc. The commercials are nice, because we in the Netherlands don’t get to see them, Apple hardly advertises on tv here.
